2. Incision Placement: Dr. Riccio will strategically place incisions based on your preferences and implant type:

• Inframammary Incisions: Made in the natural crease under the breast.
• Periareolar Incisions: Made around the edge of the areola.
• Transaxillary Incisions: Made in the armpit.

3. Implant Placement: Breast implants are inserted either behind the breast tissue (subglandular), beneath the pectoralis facia layer (subfacial), or beneath the chest muscle (submuscular) depending on your anatomy and goals.

4. Closing Incisions: The incisions are meticulously closed with sutures, and skin adhesive may be used to minimize scarring.

5. Recovery: You will be closely monitored as you awaken from anesthesia. A friend or family member will need to drive you home and assist you during the initial recovery phase.
